notes on using Station Road spreadsheets

1. In general, where standard font is used it signifies a business of some sort while italics signifies a private residence.

2. Where a second source has been consulted for any one of the years shown, and the occupation listed for an individual differs from that in the first, it is shown in brackets.

3. Ditto for if the occupier differs.

4. For Station Approach/Station Yard it has been particularly difficult to map occupants from one year onto the next as the numbering systems for this area appears to have changed over time. Where it has not been possible to allocate a business to a location, it is listed below the allocated names.
