Celebrate the history of public transport manufacture in Waltham Forest (including trains, buses, trams and trolley buses).
The fascinating exhibition will showcase the history of these vehicles and their unrivalled links to the borough.
To celebrate the North Chingford Heritage Festival, visitors will be offered the chance to travel on an original heritage RT Bus (which was once part of London’s largest ever standardised bus fleet).
The heritage bus tours run from 11am to 4pm and will leave from Chingford Station and take a circular route around North Chingford, with the opportunity to alight at the Epping Forest Visitors Centre; for visits to the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge, Visitor Centre and Museum, Butlers Retreat, The Royal Forest Hotel and Epping Forest.
