7.30pm to 10pm
Mornington Hall, The Green Walk, Chingford, E4 7ER
Novelist Nicola Raynor will be joining Jacky Logan BEM to discuss her latest Novel ‘The Paris Dancer’. A heart-wrenching and unforgettable story of courage, friendship and resistance, inspired by the incredible true story of a Jewish ballroom dancer in Paris during WWII. Jo’s bookshop will be selling signed copies.
There will also be archive footage and a display to celebrate 25 years since the ‘UK GAY SPORTS FESTIVAL’ was held in Waltham Forest to mark the millennium. The UK same sex dance championships were held in the Lloyd Park Theatre, and over 20 different sports were represented all across the borough with gay participants from across the world. Come and find out more!
