Acorn Films over 75 Years, a celebration by Theresa Reynolds and Linda McDonald Cairns
Acorn Films and its predecessor group recorded events and changes in Chingford from 1951, creating a unique video archive spanning the years. This is the launch of the book 'From Little Acorns, The Legacy of Acorn Films and the Chingford Newsreel' with plenty of photos and deep research, in a fascinating dive into the story of the film-makers and their achievements. There will be the first screening of a new film about the film-makers, a Q & A session and book signing. Thursday 15th October at 7.30 pm at the Church of England Junior School on Shaftesbury Road off Richmond Road off Station Road E4 7BW.
