Women, War & Wolf Cubs - Online zoom talk by Caroline Pantling

An online talk by Caroline Pantling, Head of Heritage Services at The Scouts Association.   For tickets via eventbrite click HERE

As the First World War took hold women’s contributions to Scouting would not only increase but become critical to the survival of the Movement. During these darkest days the Scouts were looking forwards not only launching the Wolf Cubs for 8 – 10 year olds but also challenging ideas what these “Lady Scoutmasters” could achieve. Through the stories of these Scouting pioneers this talk will explore how the role of women developed and challenged the social norm.
